Welcome to Avonlea Inn.
Serenity Awaits.

Life is busy, and we all deserve a little TLC. At Avonlea Inn, you’ll find the perfect place to relax, regroup, and refresh surrounded by nature. Our century-old inn offers timeless charm paired with modern amenities, perfect for history buffs who enjoy elegant comfort. (In fact, Avonlea Inn originally began as a Sears, Roebuck and Co. kit house built in 1910!) Surrounded by gardens filled with native plants, beautiful blooms, and entertaining wildlife, it’s easy to escape your worries and immerse yourself in the serenity that Avonlea Inn offers.

The inn

Whether celebrating an anniversary, hosting a family reunion, planning a girlfriends’ getaway, or looking for solitude to write your Great American Novel, Avonlea Inn offers options to meet your needs.

Book the entire Inn to accommodate your group. For smaller parties, reserve the two-bedroom Rose Suite or one-bedroom Bluebell Suite for more intimate gatherings. (Both suites sleep four guests.) And, as an added perk, we invite your furry family member to join the fun when you reserve the full inn. (Rover wants a vacation, too!)

Relax in the gardens. Sip a cocktail on the porch. Take a dip in our above-ground pool, and let your worries float away.

Outdoor sitting area

If you love gardening, stroll through the Avonlea Gardens native plants nursery and choose a plant that not only reminds you of your stay—but also supports native wildlife. Whether you enjoy the adorable antics of hummingbirds zipping through the garden, relish waking up to songbirds outside your window, or want to do your part to save our pollinators, you’ll find beautiful, healthy, pesticide- and herbicide-free native plants to create a backyard wildlife habitat. Take home a bit of Avonlea Gardens to grow your own peaceful paradise.
