Description
A mound-shaped, suckering shrub with arching branches. Older stems have shaggy bark. Spreads by runners. Muted blue-green opposite leaves. Greenish-white flower clusters. Vibrant clusters of coral-pink to purple berries remain on the plant through winter. Tolerates a wide range of soils. Remove root suckers and runners to control any unwanted spread of the plant. Use as a groundcover or for erosion control, or because it is native, supports wildlife and is pretty! Attracts birds. Special value to native bees and supports beneficial insects. Height: 2-5 ft.
