Description
A deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub. Vase-shaped but tends to sucker. Dark green, glossy leaves consistently turn a rich, orange-red in fall. Flat-topped clusters of white, five-petaled flowers with red anthers. Glossy red fruits persist on the shrub through winter. Wide range of soil tolerance.
Attracts birds, butterflies and bees.
