Description
Hut 2
‘Haywire’ is a dwarf form of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana. It features a delicate and feathery foliage that provides textural interest in the garden, and contrasts with its bulky wide pyramidal form. (I cannot resist running my fingers through this soft, pretty foliage whenever I walk by it!)
Requires well-draining soil with average moisture. Maintain even moisture with a layer of mulch. Avoid wet, poorly-drained soils, and shelter from strong winds. If pruning is desired (for it will not be required), do not cut into heavy wood – trim soft growth only.
Evergreens provide food and shelter for our wildlife.
