Hut 3 A showstopper from late summer to fall! Callicarpa Pearl Glam is a vigorous upright shrub, more upright than traditional beautyberry. Dark purple foliage opens in spring. Late summer brings small white flowers that yield violet-purple berries by the hundreds. May experience some dieback in colder winters, but will resprout from the ground and still flower and fruit that year. The long-lasting fruits provide food for birds and other animals well into the winter months when other food-sources are unavailable. Best in well-drained soil. Blooms on new wood. Height: 4-5 ft.
