Description
Standing about 16” in bloom, a dense block of fuzzy, pyramidal shaped, rose pink plumes is presented just above the coarsely textured, dark green foliage in midsummer. Like all Chinese Astilbes, this one exhibits a bit greater tolerance to drier soils and can take full sun. ht: 14-16″ spread: 14-16″ bloom time: mid-summer filtered sun, part shade, full shade average water and consistent water; dryness leads to a quick demise, especially in sun. deer and rabbit resistant photo credit: Walters Gardens
