Description
Quite the showy goldenrod with pyramids of yellow flowers on red stems! Blossoms occasionally have a mild fragrance. Stems are stiff and upright. Spreads by rhizomes but more moderately than some other goldenrods. Attracts bees, birds, butterflies. Special value to native bees and supports beneficial insects. Drought tolerant once established. Becomes more aggressive in moist soils. Remove spent flower clusters to encourage additional bloom. Height: 2-3 ft. Spread: 2-3 ft.
