Description
Entice pollinators to your dappled shaded areas with this goldenrod! A shade-tolerant woodland perennial with erect, somewhat (and sometimes) zig-zag stems. Elongated yellow flower clusters. Pointed, alternate, oval leaves are coarsely toothed. Attracts bees, birds, butterflies. Special value to native bees and supports beneficial insects. Prefers sun-dappled part shade, but will also grow in full shade. Established plants tolerate some dry soils. Spread by rhizomes and self-seeding. Height: 1-3 ft. Spread: 1-3 ft.
