Description
Purple-blue flowers in branching loose racemes and a bushy habit with green foliage. Slightly hairy square stems and downy serrated foliage give rise to the common name. Unlike its mint family members, it does not have scent and is inedible to mammals. Spreads by strong rhizome and will form a dense clump when placed in moist, rich soil. Height: 2-3 ft.
