Description
Clumping plant, hairy stems, deep green leaves. Leaf pairs are perfoliate, and encircle the stem, creating the illusion that the stem has pierced through the leaves. Small clusters of loose, white flat-topped flowers. Adaptable to many soils, but needs constant moisture. Attracts birds, butterflies. Special value to native bees and supports beneficial insects.
