Description
An unusual plant to impress your neighbors and make the birds happy at the same time! Very textural, erect plant. Feathery, fernlike leaves fold in strong sunlight and when touched. Small, ball-shaped clusters of whitish or greenish flowers look fluffy due to extended stamens. Super cool, flat, leathery, twisted (or shall we say bundled?) seedpods follow. Attracts birds, butterflies.
Adapts to a somewhat wide range of soils and is drought tolerant.
