Description
Look at how tall this grows! Leaves are divided into three lobes with the lower leaves on the stem being quite large, up to 6″. Yellow ray flowers surround a disk which starts yellow and deepens to a purplish-red. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. But the more moisture it gets, the taller it grows! Freely self-seeds. Promptly dead-head spent blossoms to promote rebloom. Special value to native bees and supports beneficial insects. Height: 2-8 ft. Spread: 2-8 ft.
