Description
Stout, sturdy stems. Large, light green leaves and fragrant, showy spheres of pinkish-purple flowers. Can spread somewhat rapidly by rhizomes. Tolerant of drought and extreme conditions. Warty seed pods split open to release silky-haired seeds. Stems exude a toxic milky sap when cut.
