Description

Nodding, bell-like red and yellow flowers with a tubular shape are artistically set off by delicate, compound, bright green leaves. A. canadensis is a short-lived perennial that maintains its garden presence by reseeding.

Attract long-tongued insects (like bumblebees) and hummingbirds.

Prefers rich, moist soils with partial shade and good drainage.
