Description
Phlox are showy and long-blooming. They grow best in rich, moist soil in full sun. They thrive with fertilizing every other month and consistent moisture levels. Requires good air circulation. Deadhead to encourage periodic rebloom. ‘Opening Act Pink-a-Dot’ has near white flowers with a dark pink, central star pattern that blossoms earlier than other varieties in early summer. The dark green, glossy foliage is mildew and disease resistant. Stoloniferous habit. (A stolon is a segmented, horizontal stem which remains chiefly above ground.) Height: 2 ft. Spread: 2.5-3 ft.
