Description
Hardy geraniums are rhizomatous perennials that spread to form a wide clump. Green leaves are deeply divided and form an attractive foliage mat. Cheerful upward-facing, 5-petaled flowers with contrasting darker veins can brighten that shady corner and your day. Prefers moist, humusy, well-drained soils. Tolerant of some drought once established. Remove flowered stems and old leaves to encourage the production of fresh leaves and flowers. ‘Tiny Monster’ is noted for its vigorous, sprawling growth. Pink flowers have dark wine-red veining. Foliage often turns attractive shades of purple-bronze in autumn. Height: 0.5-1 ft. Spread: 1-2 ft.
