Description
Hardy geraniums are rhizomatous perennials that spread to form a wide clump. Green leaves are deeply divided and form an attractive foliage mat. Cheerful upward-facing flowers with contrasting darker veins can brighten that shady corner and your day. Prefers moist, humusy, well-drained soils. Intolerant of drought. Remove flowered stems and old leaves to encourage the production of fresh leaves and flowers. ‘Johnson’s Blue’ has large, saucer-shaped, sky blue flowers (to 2” diameter) that bloom in clusters.
