Description
A white flowering version of the traditional and lovely prairie wildflower, Echinacea purpurea. Drooping white petals surround coppery orange cones which will feed the goldfinches in winter if not deadheaded. Will rebloom without deadheading. May self-seed. Stems may be branched or unbranched.
Attracts bird, butterflies, bees.
Please note: Over time (years?), white coneflower may revert back to the dominant pink/purple color of the straight species.
