Giant, blue-green leaves have very wide, chartreuse to yellow margins which become wider as the plant matures. Leaves are corrugated and slug resistant. White flowers. Height: 22″ Spread: 48″ Scape height: 30″ Water: average and consistent Bloom time: mid-summer Attracts: hummingbirds and bees Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth. Morning sun is tolerable, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly.
