Description
Large, thick, blue-green leaves display a white center in early spring. By late spring, a unique green misting appears over the white center. Mature plants tend to keep their white center longer in the spring. Light lavender flowers. Sport of ‘Blue Angel’. Height: 2 ft. Spread: 3 ft. Scape height: 3-4 ft. Water: average and consistent Bloom time: mid-summer Attracts: hummingbirds and bees Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth. Morning sun is tolerable, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly.
